Amelia Lubrano

Soprano

Amelia Lubrano is a versatile soprano whose repertoire includes opera, art song, chamber music, and concert works. She has performed the operatic roles of Angelica in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Erste Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte, Lady with a Hat Box in Dominick Argento’s Postcard from Morocco, and the role of Mother in the premiere of Bruce Saylor’s The Image Maker. As a concert artist, she has performed numerous works including Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder, Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder, and Mahler’s DasLied von der Erde. She premiered a high voice orchestral arrangement of Dvořák’s Biblicképísně at Bohemian National Hall under the baton of Maestro Maurice Peress.
