Juliana Pereira

Violin

Juliana Pereira has been playing the violin since the age of three. A New York City native, she continues her studies with Alexander Yudkovsky at the School for
Strings where she is both a proud alumna and a member of the Board of Trustees. As an undergraduate at Brown University, Juliana was the concertmaster of the orchestra and is the only student to win the Brown University Concerto Competition three times. In New York City she has performed with ensembles at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and Symphony Space. Juliana frequently plays and performs chamber music and participates in the Chamber Music Conference and Composers’ Forum at Bennington College. Juliana holds a B.A. from Brown University and M.A. from the New School. In addition to music, Juliana is an experienced digital media and marketing executive currently serving as Vice President of Marketing at Smartling, a New York-based tech startup.
